Tech Taster – 5 Days – London E1 7HA – 13/05/2019

Description of placement:

Our 5-day Tech Taster event has been designed to give people, who are interested in a career in technology, industry work experience and help enhance their employability skills, enabling them to be more confident and prepared for the working world.  Attendees will gain invaluable insight by collaboratively working on a ‘real life’ tech project with mentors and develop a series of soft skills through sessions that will aid their professional development.

 

The event will take place from Monday 13th May – Friday 17th May, from 9am to 5.30pm at a venue close to London Liverpool Street. Travel costs will be reimbursed, and breakfast and lunch will be provided throughout the event.

 

We are looking for people who are currently not in education or training, and either unemployed or seeking alternative employment opportunities. Candidates will also need to have achieved 200 UCAS points (80 points under the 2017 UCAS Tariff) from a Level 3 qualifications (e.g. A levels, BTEC) and have GCSE Maths and English at C grade or above.

 

At the end of the programme those who are a good fit for Accenture will be fast-tracked through our Technology Apprenticeship recruitment process.

During the event, you will:
