HMRC 2 Work Placements- 4 Weeks- London East EC3R 8DY- 07/01/2019

If you are aged 18-30 and currently unemployed and registered with Job Centre Plus you are eligible for this opportunity.

HMRC is the UK’s tax, payments and customs authority.  It plays a crucial role in keeping the country running, by collecting money for public services.  HMRC also supports individuals, families and business through the likes of tax credits, statutory maternity / paternity pay, sick pay and also credit incentives.

Your placement in HMRC will see you at the heart of Civil Service, during your time with us, we will give you a flavour of what it’s like to work in a dynamic environment across a range of our departments.

Your time with us is really important, so that everyone gets the most out of it.  We will ask you to undertake tasks, such as attending meetings, note taking, preparing short reports and maintaining / analysing visual data.  These are all skills that will equip you for life after the placement and that will also help support us in providing the best service we can to the public.  Skills such as CV writing are also really important in getting you into work; we want to help with this as well as helping you understand the kinds of qualities that we look for in people when we are recruiting.

We look forward to welcoming you!
